NDIS
Mooroolbark Therapy Centre supports NDIS participants who are either plan managed or self-managed.
Invoices may be sent directly to your plan manager for payment or may be paid at the time of appointment at reception.
Medicare
Clients may be eligible for Medicare rebates for speech pathology services under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, which covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year.
A CDM Plan must be obtained from your GP before your initial consultation
Private Health
Depending on the policy and level of extras cover, clients may be eligible to claim speech pathology services through private health insurance. The relevant item numbers for claims are:
- Item 320 – Speech Pathology Assessment
- Item 340 – Speech Pathology Therapy Consultation
Clients are advised to check with their health insurer to confirm eligibility.
